Sara studied at the Franciscan schools and then at the Lycée, before earning her Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Arts, French Language Department, Cairo University. From the beginning, her vision was clear: blending culture, language, and international knowledge to create a unique professional future.
Sara did not stop at her Bachelor's degree; she continued her academic journey and in 2024 obtained a Master's degree in Intellectual Property from the National Institute of Intellectual Property at Helwan University, an achievement that reflects her deep understanding of the vital relationship between the knowledge economy and global trade.
This advanced academic achievement was not just a certificate; it was a culmination of years of in-depth research and study in a vital field linking innovation and global trade. Sara realized early on that the future would not be for countries that only possess natural resources, but for those that can protect and develop their knowledge and intellectual assets.
Sara embarked on her professional journey, working as a service agent at the airport with Air France, where her distinctive professional personality began to form. She did not know then that this experience would be the first nucleus of her deep understanding of international service requirements. Sara provided excellent customer service to Air France passengers, assisting them with various problems related to luggage and flights. She also coordinated operations with airport staff and other airlines to ensure smooth operations.
She then moved to Orange, working in the North Africa and Middle East Customer Support Department, Global Customer Service Center. Sara was responsible for managing customer interactions, creating support tickets, and coordinating problem resolution with engineers. She also took responsibility for ordering and tracking parts and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
But the real achievement came with her joining Oracle Egypt, where she worked in technical support, spending nine exceptional years from 2006 to 2015. During this period, she was not just an employee, but a true leader managing entire teams and setting customer service strategies. She succeeded in establishing advanced work systems and training professional work teams. Sara managed customer accounts and oversaw their access to Oracle products, and led a team of user managers. Her responsibilities included setting team goals, developing policies and procedures, and providing continuous training and guidance to team members.
The Strategic Shift Towards International Development In 2016, Sara made a bold decision that completely changed her career path. She moved to work on the TVET Reform Project in Egypt, an EU-funded project, as a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. This decision was a crucial turning point, as she entered the world of international development with all its complexities and challenges.
During two years of hard work, Sara specialized in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, managing data collection and analysis, and developing information management systems. She also provided technical assistance in monitoring and evaluation and led capacity building initiatives to ensure the integration of results into program and project design. She also led comprehensive training programs to build the capacities of local teams, and contributed to setting new evaluation standards for European projects.
In recognition of her exceptional efficiency and ability to handle complex challenges, she was promoted in 2018 to the position of External Affairs and Public Relations Officer with the European Union in the same project. In this sensitive position, she became the diplomatic face of the project before European officials, and developed a strong network of relationships with decision-makers in Brussels and European capitals.
In October 2019, the true culmination of Sara's professional journey came with her appointment as Executive Director of the Export Council for Printing, Packaging and Paper, affiliated with the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade. This strategic position placed her in a position of direct responsibility for the development of one of the most important economic sectors in Egypt.
Under her leadership, the Council witnessed a qualitative leap in its performance and achievements. She developed innovative strategies to increase Egyptian exports, and succeeded in building strategic partnerships with government and private institutions. She also led international marketing campaigns, organized specialized trade fairs, and established training programs for small and medium enterprises. Her responsibilities also include overseeing budgets, managing staff, and building strong relationships with partners and donors to ensure export growth.
Her achievements in this position went beyond numbers and statistics. She succeeded in changing the international perception of Egyptian products in this sector, and opened new markets in Europe, Africa, and Asia. She also developed modern monitoring and evaluation systems, and established advanced databases to monitor global market trends.
Sara did not content herself with success in her official positions; her influence extended to other areas. She established a specialized consulting practice in export and intellectual property rights, becoming a reference for Egyptian companies seeking to enter international markets.
She distinguished herself by her active participation in international conferences and economic forums, where she offered her expertise and experience for the benefit of the Egyptian economy. She also keen on continuously developing her capabilities by obtaining specialized certificates from prestigious international institutions such as the American University in Cairo and the International Finance Corporation.
What truly distinguishes Sara is her firm belief in the necessity of continuous development and lifelong learning. Throughout her professional journey, she has been keen on acquiring the latest knowledge and skills through specialized training programs from the most prestigious international institutions.
She obtained a Certified Board Member certificate from the Corporate Directors Development Program offered by the International Finance Corporation, a certificate that qualifies its holder to assume senior leadership positions in multinational companies. She also completed an Advanced Monitoring and Evaluation Diploma from the American University in Cairo, which enhanced her capabilities in managing complex development projects.
In the field of digital marketing, she obtained an Advanced Digital Marketing certificate from the global Udacity platform, which enabled her to lead international marketing campaigns with high efficiency. She also completed a specialized course in Strategic Studies and National Security from Nasser Military Academy, which added an important strategic dimension to her vision in the field of international trade.
Sara did not overlook the importance of developing personal and leadership skills. She obtained specialized certificates in project management, negotiation, difficult situation management, and effective communication from Dale Carnegie and Harvard Mentor Manager institutes, which are among the most prestigious training institutions in the world. These diverse and specialized
certificates reflected her keenness on excellence in all aspects of leadership work.
